Description
Earth Day is here and this place value math craft is the perfect way to keep your students engaged and learning while creating a great recycling math bulletin board display! Your students will choose a 2 or 3 digit number and will show that number in a variety of formats, ultimately, creating a place value recycle bin!
Your students will be practicing skills, you have an excellent opportunity for a formative assessment and at the end of the day you will have a beautiful math bulletin board. This craftivity is a win-win for teachers and students.
This resource is also part of a place value craft bundle so that you can monitor your students’ progress and keep your seasonal bulletin boards in top condition all year!
Two versions of the craft template have been included. One version is truly print & go with zero prep needed. Your students will color in their recycling bin and items with crayons or markers before assembling. The second version has template pieces separated so that you can print them onto colored paper.
